A 1930s Tudor Revival in Baton Rouge, the Wincott residence was one of the most dynamic projects SWR has worked on, spanning the length of three years. A full-scale restoration project, the house encompassed the restoration of a hundred casement windows, thick decorative doors, Flemish shutters, the fabrication of hand-hewn beams, and even the restoration of the property's dovecotes! Every twist and turn of this house was asymmetrical and unique, making the project's long timeline dizzying. However, every unique architectural project from the conservation of the old lanterns on the facade to the restoration of a rondel window made Wincott a fun challenge from start to finish.
