Pirate’s Alley

One of the most unique locations SWR has ever worked in, we spent our days restoring an icon in the heart of the French Quarter. Tucked beside St. Louis Cathedral and situated above both a traditional absinthe bar and the historic residence of William Faulkner when he lived in New Orleans, this project gave us quite the view as well as a taste for working on buildings within the quarter. For this particular project, the focus was on grand pass-through window units, shutters, and the old balconies and hand-rails connecting to the pass-through units.
